Two new wellness openings in the United States caught our eye this month, and both point to where the recovery-and-spa market is heading. One is a membership recovery studio built around saunas and cold therapy, the other a hotel spa blending traditional treatments with clinician-led services. Neither is in the UK, but both are worth watching if you follow how the sector is evolving.
Heights Wellness Retreat opens in southwest Las Vegas
Heights Wellness Retreat has opened a 2,400 square foot facility at UnCommons in southwest Las Vegas, offering infrared saunas, cryotherapy, red light therapy, lymphatic drainage, salt therapy and meditation on a membership model. The company says the site created more than 30 jobs and that it plans a second location in North Las Vegas.
The Westin Lake Las Vegas debuts Ah Spa by Ageless Humans
The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa in Henderson, Nevada has opened Ah Spa by Ageless Humans, described as the first full-service spa from Ageless Humans set within a hotel. It pairs massage and facials with clinician-led services such as peptide therapy, IV drips and injectables, with a formal grand opening planned for autumn 2026.
