Ideas for Leadership and Community-Building Retreats

  • This is a place to create memories, so don't lose them! Designate a group photographer to capture those special moments. Even more powerful is to have several people taking photos and download them all onto an electronic photo album for each participant.
  • Planning and leadership training sessions should be in a space conducive to serious conversation without distractions and meet no longer than 90 minutes without a break and plan plenty activities that helps folks get to know each other.
  • Campfires are powerful memory-makers, especially if you serve S'mores!
