Our Staff

Debra Williams was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Garrett Creek Ranch Conference Center, a highly successful meeting venue near Dallas/Fort Worth. Over a five year period her successes include doubling the company’s revenue and increasing its exposure in new markets across the country. Before that she was the owner of two successful hospitality venues in Dallas, Texas.

Jaynie Schultz created Garrett Creek Ranch with her mother more than 20 years ago. She served as the founding Director of Sales and Marketing and is involved in many non-profit organizations and leadership development programs.

Alissa Robinow joins Retreat Central as the West Coast Representative. Alissa has worked at the Marin JCC and Camp Newman as an Administrator and programming coordinator. She also serves on the board of several non-profits, including the Executive Board of the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation. When Alissa is not working, she is busy with her husband and their 3 amazing (aren't they?) boys. Alissa has been planning and coordinating events for many years and looks forward to helping you find the right spot for your group.

Jeremy Harlan joins Retreat Central as the Southwest Consultant. Jeremy brings a plethora of group sales and hospitality experience to the Retreat Central pool of talented conspirators. While working for over a decade as a Director of Sales and Marketing and as a General Manager in Austin, TX, Jeremy grew a distinct efficiency at identifying a group's particular needs and optimizing their event's success.

Jess Dudley is happy to be on the Retreat Central team as the Marketing and Event Coordinator. Having recently graduated from Bowling Green State University, she puts her degree in Communications to good use as she is always the quickest to answer the phones. In addition to her marketing responsibilities for partner camp & retreat centers, she manages incoming inquiries, and planning various large affairs for clients. She is also known around the office as the "good luck charm" as business has really picked up since she came on board.

Melissa Duchin is Retreat Central's Director of Research. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Melissa has always wanted to learn more, and now she enjoys spending her days using effective search strategies to find out (almost) anything and everything for Retreat Central. From research to reports, Melissa applies her cultivated analytic skills to succeed in every endeavor. With her precise thinking and systematic work ethic, she brings only the positive attributes of a perfectionist to the Retreat Central team.

Michele Willis began working for Jaynie Schultz and Debra Williams at Garrett Creek Ranch Conference Center in Paradise, Texas. Absorbing as much knowledge and direction as she could from Deb and Jaynie, Michele worked for almost 5 years as a Sales Manager at Garrett Creek Ranch cultivating relationships and helping Garrett Creek Ranch grow until its close in November of 2010. When approached by Debra and Jaynie to join the team at Retreat Central the only answer Michele could think of was – "when can I start". Michele is the Corporate Sales Director for Retreat Central working closely with our database of Garrett Creek Ranch corporate clients as well as any new corporate clients in need of a fantastic location to fit their meeting or event needs in the DFW area and all around the country. Her passion is her clients – serving any needs or desires they may have.

Sara Marler joins Retreat Central as the National Sales Representative for Nature's Classroom Institute (NCI). She lives in Austin TX and devotes herself to volunteering for education and the environment while raising her daughters. She was a past PTA President of a public elementary school, Vice Chair of the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Board and an avid volunteer for many nonprofits. She has been a director and development director of two non-profits and worked in Community and Employee Relations for a Fortune 500 company.

Tricia Hausler brings Retreat Central's customer-focused service to America's Heartland! With years of success in planning and hosting group events and accommodations, she provides a wealth of guidance and support to help create memorable retreat experiences.
